KayCee Stroh, who played Marthain all three of Walt Disney Companys High School Musical movies paid a special visit to Skokie School in Winnetka to rehearse with actors in the Special Gifts Theatre for their stage performance of the movie, which took place in early March.

SGT is a Northbrook-based non-profit organization that works with children with special needs, giving them an opportunity to experience theatre arts while breaking down stereotypes related to disabilities.

Stroh rehearsed and performed with the actors in the March 13 performance. Radio Disney AM 1300 Chicago will also be awarded with the Special Gifts Theatre  2010 Opening Doors to New Possibilities Community Award, which is awarded annually to a corporation or organization that helps SGT combat the barriers to diversity and inclusion by expanding the idea as understanding, acceptance and well being in the communities they serve.

The cast has spent the past 25 weeks rehearsing for the performance, which commemorated the theater's 10th anniversary. For more information about SGT, click here.
