Life has not been particularly kind to this sweet cat who really needs to find that special home to call her own. Grazie is around 7-years-young and she may be blind or have just limited site in one eye. She came to Heartland from a high kill shelter looking for that second chance. Grazie is the kindest most loving brown and golden Torbie who has a beautiful plush coat with flattering orange highlights.
Her favorite activity is curling up to sleep on laps and she enjoys being brushed. Despite her disability she loves to mingle with the volunteers and other cats and seems to have adapted quite well to shelter life. She is front paw declawed. Grazie’s $100 adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, deworming, microchip, spay, a FIV/FeLuek test and a free vet exam within two weeks of adoption.
Heartland Animal Shelter is at 2975 Milwaukee Avenue in Northbrook and is open from 4-7 on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday and noon to 4 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
