Toni Searches for New Home

Toni is waiting patiently at Heartland for a home to call her own.

Toni is waiting patiently at Heartland for a home to call her own.

Toni originally arrived at Heartland as a kitten when she and her sister came in as strays. They were adopted quickly and in a home until just before Christmas last year when her family moved and couldn’t take Toni and her sister Tinna with them. She is now around three and is affectionate, friendly, gentle and loves lap time. She has not adapted well to the shelter and has a special place in the kitten room until she finds her forever home.

Toni would really benefit from being in a home soon and could be adopted either alone or with her sister Tinna. Her $100 adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, deworming, microchip, spay, a FIV/FeLuek test and a free vet exam within two weeks of adoption.

Heartland Animal Shelter is at 2975 Milwaukee Avenue in Northbrook and is open from 4-7 on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday and noon to 4 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Check out the animals available for adoption online at www.heartlandanimalshelter.net, call 847-296-6400, email at heartlandanimals@yahoo.com or follow us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/HeartlandAnimalShelter.
