Kylie is a friendly calico that came into Heartland as a stray and is now looking for a home.

Kylie is a beautiful calico cat that came to Heartland as a stray last summer. Although she was homeless when she arrived at the shelter, we suspect she was in a nice home at one time because Kylie is very friendly and affectionate. Its not unusual for her to offer a warm-hearted welcome to visitors and she loves to be brushed.

This four-year-old also loves to find a nice coat or purse to curl up for her frequent cat-naps. Do you have room perfect place in your home for this sweet calico? Kylies $100 adoption fee covers up-to-date vaccines, deworming, microchip, spay, a FIV/FeLuek test and a free vet exam within two weeks of adoption.

Heartland Animal Shelter is at 2975 Milwaukee Avenue in Northbrook and is open from 4-7 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays and noon to 4 pm on Saturday and Sunday. You can also check out Kylie and the other animals available for adoption online at www.heartlandanimalshelter.net, call 847-296-6400 or email at heartlandanimals@yahoo.com. If you are unable to adopt and would like to make a donation to the shelter, Heartlands wish list can be found at www.heartlandanimalshelter.net/WishList.html.
