Bella Blue’s Heartland Tale

Once upon a time, Bella Blue was a loving and affectionate member of a family. When a more dominant male cat moved in, the plot thickened for this sweet three-year-old. She became shy and depressed and eventually lost her home and ended up at Heartland Animal Shelter. Because she is so easily frightened, this beautiful gray and white tabby has her own special place in the shelter office.

As Bella has become more secure in the past few weeks, she has really started to come out of her shell and her wonderful sweet nature is starting to show. She now leaves her hiding spot to greet people in the main office and she is blossoming with the attention. Just give Bella Blue a good lap and some TLC and she will purr for you to show you her satisfaction.

For a happy ending to this Heartland Tale, Bella Blue should become the queen of her own castle where she will give some lucky family the opportunity for lots of belly rubs. The adoption fee for Bella is $100 and includes up-to-date vaccines, deworming, microchip, spay, a FIV/FeLuek test and a free vet exam within two weeks of adoption.

Stop by Heartland Animal Shelter at 2975 Milwaukee Avenue in Northbrook, check out animals available online at www.heartlandanimalshelter.net, call 847-296-6400 or email at heartlandanimals@yahoo.com. Heartland generally has around 125 cats and kittens and 40 dogs and puppies available for adoption.
