The Lincoln-Way Prospects travel baseball organization completely dominated the Continental Amateur Baseball Association (C.A.B.A.) World Series qualifier held at Ho Chunk Baseball Complex over Memorial Day weekend for the Annual Tom Pell Memorial Day tournament.
The 9U Lincoln-Way Prospects (State ranked #1) defeated the Illinois Mavericks (State ranked #10) 8-4 in the championship game, which began a triple sweep for the Prospects, as all of their age levels (9U, 10U and 11U) won their semi-finals and championship games. It marks the third time in 2011 that the Prospects have swept a tournament with their age levels, demonstrating the depth and consistency of their instruction, philosophy and player execution on the field.
The team will compete in the 2011 C.A.B.A. World Series in July.
