The Lincoln-Way Prospects travel baseball organization completely dominated the Continental Amateur Baseball Association (C.A.B.A.) World Series qualifier held at Ho Chunk Baseball Complex over Memorial Day weekend for the Annual Tom Pell Memorial Day tournament.

The 11U Lincoln-Way Prospects (State ranked #2) defeated the Bridgeport Bombers 13-3 in the championship game, which completed a triple sweep for the Prospects, as all of their age levels (9U, 10U and 11U) won their semi-finals and championship games. It marks the third time in 2011 that the Prospects have swept a tournament with their age levels, demonstrating the depth and consistency of their instruction, philosophy and player execution on the field.

The tournament featured a dozen teams at the 11U age level, none of which could stop the Prospects offense nor stage a rally on their impeccable defense.

"This is a remarkable groups of kids. Every year we hear we cannot repeat the season before, or match the success these boys have had. Three years later, they're surpassing goals, again. It's a great honor to see them respond to instruction, and advanced fundamentals as they grow within our organization," added Steve Korbel; founder of the Lincoln-Way Prospects and Head Coach for 9U, 10U and 11U teams.

The 11U Prospects maintain the highest of State ranks in governed sanctions, and have repeat appearances in TBS' National Top 25, going back to their 2010 campaign, as well as 2011. The team eclipsed 50 victories in early June, with a relaxed weekday schedule and in part due to their advancements in weekend tournament play. They're on pace to break an organizational record for victory tallies (71 wins in a season), and will play up in a 12U tournament over Father's Day weekend.

The team will compete in the 2011 11U C.A.B.A. World Series in July.
