The 10U Lincoln-Way Prospects traveled to Greenfield, IN in May to partake in the Bandit Yard Invitational, a youth baseball tournament for elite travel teams hosted by the Indiana Bandits.

The Prospects won the tournament, their 6th championship on the 2010 season with victories over the Indiana Jaguars, once in pool play and a second time for the championship, along with wins versus the Indiana Bandits, the HSE Cats (Noblesville, IN), Indy Longhorns, and the Carmel, IN Pups Gold.

The 10U team is the national defending runner-up from the 9U C.A.B.A. World Series as 9 year olds, and is a member of the Northern IL Metro League, the I-80 Travel League and plays home games at Lincoln-Way Central, with a handful of games played at Lincoln-Way West and Joliet Junior College. The organization has made donations to those schools in exchange for use of gymnasium and field space, as well as clinic and camp attendance.

In 2010, the 10U Prospects have claimed both 10U Elite GLYSE Bo Jackson Dome indoor tournaments (February and March in Lockport, IL), the GameDay USA Pre-Season Championship (West Chicago, IL), the U.S.S.S.A. Mississippi Valley NIT (Davenmport, IA), the U.S.S.S.A. World Series qualifier at Lenz Field (Jacksonville, IL), and the Bandit Yard Shoot Out. The team is also the #1 seed in a delayed tournament due to weather for the Tom Pell Memorial Day tournament at the Ho Chunk baseball complex in Lynwood, IL.

The 10U Prospects are the only 10U Lincoln-Way area team to earn a berth in the I-80 Premier gold bracket playoff, and one of four bids for the State of Illinois travel baseball tournament hosted at four regional sites in June. The team is amidst a Chicago Blackhawks and Lincoln-Way Central Knights jersey tribute and can be visited at www.lwprospects.com
