LISLE, IL. – The Chicago Bulls/Chicago White Sox Training Academy announced that it is hosting an Elite ‘K’ Club, Elite Infield Club and Elite Catching Club during the month of October at the Lisle Academy located at 6200 River Bend Drive. All three programs have limited enrollment and are open to twelve to fourteen year olds. The cost is only $180.00 per athlete per club.
The White Sox Academy Elite ‘K’ Club will give a firsthand look at the pitching regimen designed to get results. Go beyond the mechanics with grips, pitch selection, setting up hitters and the mental aspect of pitching. The Elite ‘K’ Club will start on Monday, October 4, 2010 and will run for four consecutive weeks. Enrollment is limited and open to twelve to fourteen year olds. The times for the Elite ‘K’ Club will be 4:30pm-6:00pm. An additional Elite ‘K’ Club is available for fifteen to eighteen year olds from 6:00pm-7:30pm at our Lisle facility only, and is led by our Head Pitching Instructor, Marty Kobernus.
The White Sox Academy Elite Infield Club will teach every aspect of infield play. Athletes will have twenty minutes of classroom and seventy minutes of field instruction. Our Elite Academy coaches will introduce you to concepts that will change the way you play forever. The Elite Infield Club will start on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 and will run for four consecutive weeks. Enrollment is limited and open to twelve to fourteen year olds. The times for the Elite Infield Club will be 4:30pm-6:00pm. An additional Elite Infield Club is available for fifteen to eighteen at our Lisle facility only. An additional Infield Club is available for fifteen to eighteen year olds from 6:00pm-7:30pm at our Lisle facility only and is led by our Lead Academy Instructor, Justin Stone.
The White Sox Academy Elite Catching Club program is designed to develop your skills by learning from the pros. This unique catcher’s camp will cover stance, receiving, blocking, throwing, and game management. Learning how to play the toughest position on the field requires your commitment and our expert help. The Elite Academy staff teaches the fundamentals and strategies that only the pros know and can help you bring your game to the next level. The Elite Catching Club will start on Thursday, October 7, 2010 and will run for four consecutive weeks. Enrollment is limited and open to twelve to fourteen year olds. The times for the Elite Catching Club will be 4:30pm-6:00pm. An additional Elite Catching Club is available for fifteen to eighteen year olds from 6:00pm-7:30pm at our Lisle facility only and is led by our Head Catching Instructor, Eric Scott.
