Naperville Republican Pat Fee has been tapped to build membership for the Big Tent.
Fee has been appointed to the membership committee of the National Federation of Republican Women. A former legislative aide to Rep. Darlene Senger, Fee is also 2nd vice president of the state Republican women’s organization. Her responsibilities in that role include building membership in Illinois.
Fee’s Republican roots run deep. She volunteered for George Bush’s campaign in 2004, and for Senator John McCain’s presidential run in 2008, and has volunteered for countless campaigns in the Naperville area.
Fee is a member of the Illinois Republican Roundtable, and also a member of the Broward County Federated Women’s Organization in Florida. In 2009, she attended the NFRW Campaign School in Orlando. She will graduate this month as a fellow of the Illinois Lincoln Excellence in Public Service Series, which is a nine-month GOP leadership training program.
Fee is past president of the Naperville Area Republican Women’s Organization.
In her new role, Fee will work hand-in-hand with women across the United States to grow membership and foster loyalty to the Republican Party.
Founded in 1938, the NFRW has thousands of active members in local clubs across the nation and in several U.S. territories, making it one of the largest women’s political organizations in the country. The grassroots organization works to promote the principles and objectives of the Republican Party, elect Republican candidates, inform the public through political education and activity, and increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government.
