NAPERVILLE, Ill., September 2, 2010—Animals Deserving of Proper Treatment recently received a 2006 Ford E350 transport van from an anonymous donor. The generous donation was purchased specifically for A.D.O.P.T. Pet Shelter and is complete with new tires and the shelter’s custom logos on the doors and the rear of the van.
“This certainly was a pleasant surprise!” stated Rich Glessner, operations director of A.D.O.P.T. Pet Shelter, “This van will be a tremendous help to the shelter in its daily operations and we cannot begin to express our deepest appreciation and thanks.”
The van is equipped with an extended top, providing ample room to safely transport pets, pick up large donations and allow volunteers to move freely inside.
“This gift will allow us to save the lives of thousands of pets, and for that we are forever grateful,” stated Glessner.
