Families are invited to join the Naperville Jaycees at the Last Fling for carnival rides, special events and a chance to meet Disney Channel stars this Labor Day weekend.
Carnival Mega Pass
All Around Amusements Carnival offers unlimited rides all weekend for $50, if purchased in advance online or at one of the participating Naperville locations – see www.LastFling.org for listings. Mega Passes may also be purchased at the carnival beginning Friday, Sept. 3 at 5 p.m. for $55.
“If your kid is going to ride more than 15 rides, you’re going to want to go with the Mega Pass,” said Bill Eagan, Last Fling Executive Committee member.
Other offers include:
- Carnival Deal Day – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, includes unlimited rides for $20.
- Special Disabilities Day – 10 a.m. to noon Sunday, Sept. 6, allows patrons with disabilities priority, no-wait seating and will ride free of charge for two hours. All participants must have a chaperone and wristbands may be obtained at the volunteer trailer.
Sara Lee Family Fun Land
A block south of the Riverwalk, the Naper Settlement will host the Sara Lee Family Fun Land on Saturday and Sunday this Labor Day weekend. Entry is free for families to enjoy the petting zoo, inflatables, craft activities, entertainment and much more.
“We’re also thrilled to have Radio Disney’s Road Crew back this year,” said Mike Kreger, Last Fling co-executive director. “It’s music and fun for everyone, Naperville’s youngest and oldest.”
Radio Disney will on hand with music, games and prizes with the AM1300 Road Crew to the Sara Lee Family Fun Land entertainment stage from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 4, and 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 5.
Children will also have the opportunity to meet stars from the Disney Channel hit comedy series “Jonas L.A.”, Nicole Anderson (Macy Misa) and Chelsea Staub (Stella Malone) on Sunday, September 5 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Space is limited to the first 1,000 kids receiving wristbands. Wristband handouts begin at 10 a.m. with a limit of one per person and participants must be present to receive a wristband.
