“Dancing with the Celebrities,” the 14th annual fundraiser to benefit the Community Career Center in Naperville, will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m.Wednesday, Sept 22, in the Pavilion at Meson Sabika, 1025 Aurora Ave., Naperville. Tickets are $60 per person, and reservations are requested no later than Wednesday, Sept 15.
Local celebrity dancers and their dance specialties include Naperville City Councilman Grant Wehrli doing the swing, Naperville City Councilman Kenn Miller going south of the border with a salsa beat, “Naperville Magazine” Publisher Leah Rippe highlighting her cha cha skills, Naperville Fire Chief Mark Puknaitis heating up the scene with the hustle, Illinois State Representative Darlene Senger sweeping her way through the tango, and Naperville City Manager Doug Krieger reviving that old favorite, the jitterbug.
Judges for the competition will be Naperville Mayor A. George Pradel, Naperville Police Chief David Dial, Naperville Community Relations Manager Nadja Lalvani and Attorney W. Brand Bobosky.
