Monarch Landing in Naperville welcomes the renowned Barbary Coast Dixieland Band for its Artist Series performance on Thurs., Sept. 9. The performance is open to the public. Tickets are $17 per person on a first-come, first-served basis. “We are thrilled to welcome the multi-talented and always entertaining Barbary Coast Dixieland Band,” said Patricia Luessenhop, executive director at Monarch Landing. “Once again, this Artist Series performance promises to be an evening filled with toe-tapping music presented by world-class performers.” The Barbary Coast Dixieland Band is made up of six talented musicians who play 18 instruments. The band formed in Minnesota in 1967 and is rated among the finest entertainers in the Midwest. The band began touring the U.S. in 2002 and performs at jazz festivals in Midwest and western states. Through their church ministry they have participated in church services across the country since 1984.
