School window possibly damaged by BB gun, and more

The following were taken from Naperville Police Department reports:

Theft

  • A catalytic converter was taken from a vehicle between 3 p.m. Sept. 2 and 1:27 a.m. Sept. 3 in the 400 block of Fairway Drive.
  • Two laptops were stolen from Little Friends Center for Autism between Aug. 27 and Aug. 2 in the 100 block of N. Wright Street.
  • A radar detector was stolen from a vehicle between Sept. 3 and Sept. 4 in the 2000 block of Spice Circle.
  • Police estimated $1,450 in various tools were taken from a back yard shed between 1 p.m. Sept. 4 and noon Sept. 5 in the 1300 block of Leawood Court.
  • A sewing machine valued at $600 went missing between 6 p.m. Sept. 2 and 10 p.m. Sept. 3 at JoAnn Fabrics in the 500 block of S. Route 59.
  • A man described as wearing a Last Fling t-shirt ordered $62.50 worth of oysters and left without paying at 8:22 p.m. Sept. 6 at Hugo’s Frog Bar in downtown Naperville.
  • A gas grill was stolen from a patio between 5 and 7 p.m. Aug. 19 in the 1000 block of Neudearborn Lane.
  • Thirty-three prescription pills were reported stolen between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. Aug. 25 in the 1100 block of E. Bauer Road.
  • Someone stole $40 worth of gas from Thornton’s Gas at 12:20 p.m. Aug. 27 in the 1500 block of N. Aurora Road.

Property Damage

  • A plastic sign at Chesterbrook Academy was damaged between 6:30 p.m. Sept. 2 and 8 a.m. Sept. 3 in the 2900 block of Rolling Ridge Road.
  • A rear window of a van was broken between 5:30 a.m. and 5:40 a.m. Sept. 3 in the 800 block of S. Washington Street.
  • A golf course green was damaged by bike tires at White Eagle Golf Club between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sept. 4 in the 3400 block of Club Drive.
  • A car’s hood and windshield were damaged between 5:35 p.m. and 11:23 p.m. Sept. 4 near the intersection of Webster Street and Franklin Avenue.
  • An exterior classroom window was damaged, possibly by a BB gun, between 6 p.m. Aug. 27 and 7 a.m. Aug. 30.
  • Two cars were keyed between 10 p.m. Aug. 31 and 8 a.m. Sept. 1 in the 1600 block of Westminster Drive.

Arrests

  • A 22-year-old-man of the 400 block of Rosewood Avenue in Aurora was arrested at 2:06 a.m. Sept. 5 at the intersection of N. Aurora Road and N. Route 59 and charged with driving with a suspended or revoked license and illegal possession or transportation of liquor by a driver.
  • A 23-year-old-man of the 500 block of Conservatory Lane in Aurora was arrested at 9 p.m. Sept. 4 in the 100 block of N. Main Street in Sycamore and charged with battery causing bodily harm.
  • A 43-year-old-man of the 600 block of Banbury Way in Bolingbrook was arrested at 9:18 p.m. Sept. 3 at the intersection of Ridgeland Avenue and Naperville/Wheaton Road and charged with obstructing justice.
  • A 25-year-old-woman of the 4400 block of Beau Monde Drive in Lisle was arrested at 2:35 a.m. Sept. 4 at the intersection of W. Chicago Avenue and S. Washington Street and charged with resisting a peace officer, disorderly conduct, battery, pedestrian under the influence and disobeying a traffic control signal.
  • An 18-year-old man of the 1700 block of Frost Lane in Naperville was arrested at 11 p.m. Sept. 5 in the 3700 block of Lawrence Drive and charged with possession of cannabis.
  • A 30-year-old-man of the 0-100 block of E. Benton Avenue in Naperville was arrested at his residence at 11:28 p.m. Sept. 4 and charged with battery and battery causing bodily harm.
  • A 28-year-old-man of the 500 block of Burning Tree Lane in Naperville was arrested at 9:35 p.m. Sept. 5 in the 1000 block of N. Mill Street and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cannabis less than 2.5 grams.
  • A 25-year-old-man of the 1500 block of Raymond Drive in Naperville was arrested at 2:08 a.m. Sept. 4 at the intersection of W. Jefferson Avenue and S. Washington Street and charged with fighting and interfering with an office.

DUI

  • Police arrested nine individuals for driving under the influence of alcohol between Sept. 3 and Sept. 6.
