The following were taken from Naperville Police Department reports:

Theft

• A cell phone and GPS unit were taken from an unlocked vehicle at 5:30 a.m. Aug. 30 in the 900 block of Hidden Lake Road.


• A GPS unit and Canadian coins were taken from an unlocked vehicle of an unattached garage of a home at 1:13 p.m. Aug. 29 in the 700 block of Wellner Road.


• Six individuals did not pay a $54.45 bill at Steak N Shake at 12:07 a.m. Aug. 27 in the 1600 block of N. Route 59.


• An external hard drive was stolen from a business sometime in the last week in the 1700 block of Park Street.


• A bike was stolen between 10 p.m. Aug. 25 and 3:30 p.m. Aug. 26 in the 2500 block of El Dorado Lane.


• A backpack and CDs were taken from an unlocked vehicle between 3 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Aug. 27 in the 200 block of S. Route 59.


• Four patio chairs, four plexi-glass window well covers and six high back chairs were taken between 7 and 9:30 p.m. Aug. 27 in the 1000 block of Hollingswood Court. Police said several of the items were recovered in the area.


• A GPS unit, padlock and $30 in change were taken from a vehicle between 6 p.m. Aug. 27 and 9 a.m. Aug. 28 in the 700 block of S. Sleight Street.


• A black backpack was stolen from an unlocked car overnight Aug. 28 in the 700 block of Patomac Avenue.


• Alcohol and a bag were stolen from a garage between 10 p.m. Aug. 28 and 8 a.m. Aug. 29 in the 3000 block of Treesdale Court.


• An iPod was taken from an unlocked vehicle between 8:30 p.m. Aug. 28 and 10:56 a.m. Aug. 29 in the 1800 block of Bristlecone Court.


• A lock was cut and a bike was taken between 2:30 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. Aug. 29 in the 1100 block of E. Ogden Avenue.


• A garage door opener was taken from a car between 10 p.m. Aug. 27 and 7:30 p.m. Aug. 28 in the 2800 block of Gypsum Circle. Police said the brake lines were cut on the vehicle, and the lug nuts on one tire were loosened.


• A passenger side window was broken and a leather case was taken between 10 p.m. Sept. 1 and 5:45 a.m. Sept. 2 in the 1600 block of Apache Drive.


• Two unlocked vehicles were burglarized in a driveway between 10:30 p.m. Sept. 1 and 6:30 a.m. Sept. 2 in the 600 block of N. Main Street. A large duffle bag containing softball equipment, a satellite radio and cell phone were taken from the cars.


• Five dollars in change was taken from an unlocked car between 10 p.m. Sept. 1 and 6 a.m. Sept. 2 in the 1600 block of Apache Drive.


• Change was stolen from a car between 10:30 p.m. Sept. 1 and 5 a.m. Sept. 2 in the 900 block of N. Webster Street.


• An insulin pump and test kit were taken between 7:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. Aug. 31 in the 800 block of West Street.


• A bike was reported stolen at 7:30 a.m. Aug. 27 in the 100 block of 4^th Avenue.


• A purse was reported stolen at 12:30 p.m. Aug. 28 in the 900 block of Fairway Drive.

Property Damage

• An upper bedroom window was shattered by an unknown object between 10 p.m. Aug. 29 and 6:30 p.m. Aug. 30 in the 3300 block of Grassmere Road.


• A fence topper was broken in between 4 p.m. Aug. 28 and 12 p.m. Aug. 29 in the 2800 block of Cantore Road.


• A rock was thrown through a window at 9:12 p.m. Aug. 30 in the 1200 block of Hobson Oaks Drive.


• A support pillar was damaged between 8 p.m. Aug. 26 and 1 a.m. Aug. 27 in the 3000 block of Book Road.


• Two swastikas were painted on a driveway overnight Aug. 28 in the 200 block of Dilorenzo Drive.


• A vehicle was keyed, spray painted and dented at 11:29 a.m. Aug. 28 in the 3900 block of Parador Drive.


• A cast iron mailbox was torn from its post between 8:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. Aug. 28 in the 700 block of Torrington Drive.


• A plastic mailbox was kicked off its post between 10:30 p.m. Aug. 28 and 10:30 a.m Aug. 29 in the 1100 block of N. Wright Street.


• A car was keyed between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Aug. 30 in the 700 block of W. 5^th Avenue.

Arrests

• A 31-year-old-man of the 1000 block of Autumn Lane in Aurora was arrested at 2:28 a.m. Aug. 28 at the intersection of Jackson Avenue and Main Street and charged with knowingly damaging property


• A 23-year-old-man of the 2700 block of Creekside Court in Aurora was arrested at 5:56 p.m. Aug. 27 at his address and charged with the manufacture/delivery of cannabis between 30 to 500 grams.


• A 22-year-old-man of the 11200 block of Stoll Road in Frankfort was arrested at 7:15 a.m. Aug. 29 in the 200 block of N. Mill Street and charged with knowingly damaging property and resisting a peace officer.


• A 24-year-old-man of the 800 block of Shandrew Drive was arrested at his address at 7:47 p.m. Aug. 27 and charged with disorderly conduct.


• A 21-year-old-man of the 1500 block of Raymond Drive was arrested at 6:27 p.m. Aug. 29 in the 1100 block of E. Ogden Avenue and charged with possession of cannabis more than 2.5 grams and less than 10 grams.


• A 27-year-old-man of the 1100 block of Palmetto Court was arrested at 12:45 a.m. Aug. 28 at the intersection of Ogden Avenue and Jefferson Avenue and charged with possession of a controlled substance, driving under the influence of drugs and possession of cannabis over 2.5 grams.


• A 25-year-old-woman of the 1500 block of Westminster Drive was arrested at 6:46 p.m. Aug. 31 in the 1600 block of Westminster Drive and charged with battery.


• A 62-year-old-man of the 1900 block of Grandview Place in Montgomery was arrested at 8:06 p.m. Sept. 2 on I-88 in Naperville and charged with possession of cannabis.


• A 25-year-old-man of the 100 block of S. Center Street in Joliet was arrested at 12:47 a.m. Sept. 2 in the 3000 block of 111^th Street and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended or revoked license.

DUI

     Police arrested 23 individuals for driving under the influence of alcohol between Aug. 26 and Sept. 2.
