Waubonsie Valley High School’s Taylor  Eggenberger received a $500 check during a basketball game’s half time for winning the Triblocal/Valley Honda Sports Player of the Month Contest for November. 

As a diver at Waubonsie Valley, Eggenberger was undefeated in all dual meets in 2008 and 2009. She won both the Downers Grove North Invite and the St. Charles East College Invite this year. Also, she broke the 18-year-old St. Charles record for six dives scoring 241.5. She was the 2008 Conference Champion as well as a state qualifier as a freshman.

Contest sponsor Valley Honda donated the $500 and Eggenberger was also honored with a plaque.
