Child endangerment, identity theft, and more

These incidents were taken from Mokena Police reports available Oct. 6, Frankfort Police reports available Oct. 5 and information from the Will County Detention Facility and the Will County Circuit Clerk’s Office.

Child Endangerment

A 22-year-old Orland Park woman arrested Aug. 14 by Mokena Police for endangering two children was arrested Oct. 30 on a warrant for failing to appear in court on the misdemeanor charge. She is free on $10,000 bail with the condition she have no contact with the children.

Domestic Battery
A 20-year-old Mokena man from the 9000 block of Liscanor Avenue was arrested Sept. 28 for domestic battery in connection with a Sept. 24 incident in Mokena. He is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday Oct. 11.

Identity Theft

A 37-year-old Crete woman and 34-year-old Oak Forest woman charged with identity theft and theft in connection with a June 29 Mokena offense appeared in bond court Sept. 30. They were taken into custody on a warrant issued Sept. 23 and are scheduled to appear in court Oct. 14.

DUI

A 28-year-old Orland Park man from the 9100 block of Lincoln Court was arrested Friday Sept. 30 by Mokena Police for felony drunk driving, failure to reduce speed to avoid a collision, unlicensed driving and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. He was scheduled to attend an Oct. 24 status hearing and remained in the Will County Detention Center on an immigration-related hold.

Drug -Related

A 19-year-old Mokena female from the 18700 block of South Rose Lane was cited Oct. 2 for possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia during a Frankfort police contact at 95th Avenue and Lincoln Highway. She is scheduled to appear at a Nov. 10 administrative hearing.

A 21-year-old Matteson man was cited Oct. 2 for possession of drug equipment during a 9 p.m. traffic stop at Francis Road and Front Street for driving in the oncoming lane.

Motor-Vehicle Parts Theft

The front license plate was reported stolen Sept. 28 from a 1989 Ford Mustang parked in a residential driveway on the 19600 block of Everett Lane.
