Tinley teen faces heroin drug charges

A Tinley Park teen remains in jail today after he was charged with manufacture/delivery of less than one gram of heroin, following a traffic stop by Mokena police Aug. 27.

Craig J. Kelley, 19, of the 7700 block of Bristol Park Drive is charged with “other amount narcotic, schedule I & II” and has been cited for DUI-drug, driving 15-20 mph above the posted speed limit and disregarding a stop sign.

Kelley remained in the Will County Adult Detention Facility Tuesday Aug. 31 in lieu of $35,000.

In other Will County arrests, two other Tinley Park residents are free on bail after being taken into custody last week on unrelated charges.

A 21-year-old man from the 16500 block of Crescent Avenue was arrested by Tinley Park police on Aug. 27 and was charged with misusing a credit card and theft – both felonies.

A 23-year-old woman from the 9000 block of Timberwood Lane was arrested by Tinley Park police on Aug 28 and was charged with three counts domestic battery, a misdemeanor.
