City Council raised the water rates to homeowners this year 5%. Now they think its ok to give a private Golf Course free water cause of its financial problems. How about the Dempster/Dodge Mall free water to them also?

Did the school board notice that the population of Evanston increased by only 247 people. That the 5th ward lost people. Only increase was those over 18.

IS THE TAX INCREASE FIGURE LIKE THE ONE THAT GOT TH PEOPLE IN WILLMETTE UPSET SINCE THE ACTUAL INCREASE WAS DOUBLE WHAT THEY CLAIMED IN PROPOSAL.
PERHAPS ONLY PROPERTY OWNERS SHOULD VOTE ON THIS. SINCE PROPERTY TAXES FOR SCHOOLS ARE ABOUT 70% OF THE TOTAL BILL AND BOARD STILL RUNS DECIFITS.

Bad idea. This board needs to realize that the city is already increasing property taxes and fees on homeowners. Library board wants to start their line on the property tax bills. Schools already get approx 70% of property tax bills. Perhaps they need to take off the blinders and look to become more responsible and quit spending foolishly.

How can we consider lessor penalties for DRUG USE. You open the door for one you need to open it for all. Wehave high stands of morals in this city. We have strick standards for Waitress in Resturant so why open doors for drug use.

This City Council doesn’t pay any attention to residents of an area. They let people do public comments then do as they like. Most of current alderpeople need to be replaced.
