I am happy to read that Brookfield Zoo issued this statement. I hope that the offended mother is able to read it. I also hope that a zoo staff member can contact her directly, since she was unhappy that she never received the response that she was looking for.

@BreastIsBest– Even though my 2 year old self-weaned 2 months ago, I would be proud and happy to stand alongside my breastfeeding sisters in support. I will check out the FB group. Thanks!
