  1. I was at Jewel last week and this beautiful little girl was wearing short shorts that were sooo short her ass cheeks were sticking out. She was young and didn’t need to reveal her-self to catch attention. These are the ones that then complain when boys look at them in the areas where they shouldn’t be staring at. When I went to school, girls wore grunge and flannels. I don’t believe in uniforms unless you want your children to go to a private school. That’s the reason I chose a public school when my parents asked me which I’d rather go to. This year I’ve heard about silly bands being banned and dress codes and I remember when it was certain colors you wore at school you had to worry about. Silly bands are not a distraction in school. Short shorts just like the 70′s are a distraction at school and should be left outside the school. I’m an artist and I’m all about freedom of speech and what you wear but parents should have enough common sense to see what their children are wearing before they get on the bus. If you have it flaunt it and if you don’t please cover yourself but know when and were it’s appropriate. I guess I just have to remember that were all gonna push the limits no matter what era we are in.

  4. Unbelievable! 20 businesses all got busted. I work in a liquor store and have had over 6 stings for alcohol and tobacco personally and they are very obvious when they are going down. One they don’t use fake ID’s, two they have to have a witness in the store, three they only pay with cash because the officers don’t give out the undercover’s name and four, they never try to purchase a large amount. We card hard at our store and especially anybody that looks under 30. If these kids are not even giving an ID, how hard is it to do your job? Most look like they have never even seen an advertisement for alcohol or tobacco. My town does a lot of stings and that’s because we have a very large amount liquor license which the city loves taxing. Sometimes I think these stings are entrapment but that has nothing to do with why they do them. It’s all bout the $. I have kids who come into our store and you know they are not buying 8 cases of beer and shooters for themselves and their over 21 year old friends. But once it’s out of the store it’s not my problem. Those are the ones the Police should be after because we all know they are the ones driving after the party is over with less driving experience and distributing is not only wrong it’s illegal.
