Matt Flamm – It is only prudent to borrow when you have a solid plan to actually use the money and then have heathly sustainable budget to repay the loan. Neither was in place in D15. Can we take your enthusiam for borrowing as a sign that you will continue in our State of Il tradition of borrowing to pay bills, including teacher pensions, without regard to the long term ability to repay those loan?

Well perhaps we should thank the people who actually paid Nally, be it Grabbe, MacDonald or whoever it is. They did the community a great service. That is help to wake up the community that our school districts and school boards really do need diligent monitoring. The bad faith, the unethical actions, the insider deals, the sanctimonious superiority is disgusting. Unless people see it in action they will not pay attention to local elections

Enough already!: I hate to be a cynic but something just does not add up. Why has the next Electoral Board Meeting not been scheduled? Citizens stay on guard. This school board majority cannot be trusted.
It is too bad that citizens were not better in tuned in 2006 when Boucher and company were successful with the same maneuver – refunding Capital Appreciation bonds and taking out new bonds for day to day expenses.

Bogus: Well this was to be expected; it is within their right to object. The funniest part of the bogus claims here is the signatures that are cut and pasted.

Why are they borrowing?: If the bonds are supposed to be for projects why is there no list of projects, timelines of when they need to be complete, and cost estimates? Why are they approving bonds without a plan to use the money? If there are projects to do why didn’t the board majority agree that bonding should be for projects not working cash? The official bond proposal is for working cash. Something has an odor here. Put Bonds on the Ballot.
