Exercise a little judgement. When there are dogs off leash that can fit Fluffy’s entire body in their mouths, you might want to come back another time.

She wants larger dogs kept out? The dogs that are durable enough to handle being off leash with other strange dogs? How about keeping out the kind of dogs that can be easily injured when they play with larger dogs? How about small children? Should every dog park have a FPD cop sitting at the entrance to measure dogs, or is that something that Ms. Malec feels she should be the arbiter of?
Exercise judgement – when there are animals off leash that can fit your dog in their mouths, you might want to keep fluffy tethered.

Where are the stories about children and senior citizens being attacked or menaced? There are none even when, as the story says, toddlers are nearby during an attack.
It’s far easier to place restrictions on people as to what pets they can own than it is to “humanely” remove a native animal from the area. So would that be OK Jeff? No more dogs under, say, 40 pounds? No more cats? Think that will go over well?
Tend your pets or give them up – one way or another.

If there was ever an argument for capital punishment, this is it. IL will become a haven for scum like this “person” who must now be housed, fed, and “rehabilitated” for the rest of his natural life. No one is served by his incarceration but him and the delicate sensibilities of bleeding hearts.

@deaconjim what’s even better is that the reporter didn’t even get her facts straight ….. i think there should be a high crime to pay for media lying to the people and making up numbers….. instead of going after small time business owners like Robert, they need to put some of these politicians in jail for stealing millions from tax payers and making this country and its media the way it is….. lets put david koch and his brother behind bars and the rest of the people in wall street that do affect you and i, and the economy along with the media….. they are the real criminals!!!
