TribLocal reporter
Hello! I'm Bridget Doyle, the Oak Park and River Forest reporter for the Chicago Tribune and TribLocal.

After graduating from the Missouri School of Journalism, I was hired as a beat reporter for TribLocal. Since then, I've worked diligently to cover government, school, transportation and crime, along with making sure to seek out interesting feature stories. I've covered various beats for TribLocal, but I'm excited to start covering everything in Chicago's closest west suburbs.

I became interested in journalism in high school, and have not strayed from my decision since. I love that in telling stories, I can connect with residents as well as help them stay informed. I truly enjoy being out in the community and learning what's most important to the people that live there.

I currently live on Chicago's north side and I love exploring the city. I enjoy going to Chicago sporting events (Sox fan), trying new restaurants with friends and running by the lake with my dog, Oliver.

Please don't hesitate to call, email or tweet me with questions, comments or story ideas. I would love to hear from you!
