  1. Listen. You’re not in Kansas anymore. This is Chicago, the home of the carjacker. Why would you need to be TOLD, NOT to leave the baby in the car?

  3. NOT serving minors is a tough one. The number of fake ID’s out there makes it difficult. But there is one thing that sellers of beer and liquor could do to help themselves: Require a state photo ID from EVERY buyer, no nmatter how old they look. Just ask for an ID and be done with it. At least you could defend yourself by saying you tried. Oh, and the same for tobacco products. They’re running stings on that one too.

  7. Would they be happier if she plowed the flowers and tomatoes under and simply paved it? Perhaps painted green? These people ought to have soemthing better to do. It’s not weeds. it’s a GARDEN. And she’s right. More people should be planting their own food.

  8. It’s shocking that, in this economy, these school officials have nearly $4,000,000.00 to spend on this for a few football games every year. Not to mention, or course, nearly $60,000.00 for “lime remediation.” These kinds of facilitioes ought to be at least area wide and shared among districts. Will the spending ever END? (And school boards seem to be the worst.)
