Authorities are seeking information about an alleged theft that occurred during a party two teens held while their parents were out of town.
About 25 teenagers attended a party at a residence on the 800 block of Florence Street in unincorporated McHenry earlier this month on Feb. 11, according to a McHenry County Sheriff’s press release. The homeowners were out of town, leaving their 15- and 18-year-old daughters alone.
The girls reportedly invited friends to the residence without permission, and later found that approximately $20,000 in cash and 100 Hydrocodone pills missing from the home.
