Diane Homolka, CDME appointed Lisle CVB Executive Director

The Board of Directors of the Lisle Convention & Visitors Bureau (LCVB) has recently announced the appointment of Diane Homolka as the organization's executive director. LCVB Chairman and Hilton Lisle General Manager Richard Brink praised Homolka for her stewardship during the six months she served as interim CVB executive director. Prior to gaining the top post, Homolka was the CVB’s marketing and communications manager. In her 11 years with the CVB, Homolka also held the business manager and bureau services manager positions.
Homolka has earned the Certified Destination Management Executive (CDME) designation, the highest educational achievement in the convention and visitor bureau industry. She received the CDME designation at the 97th Annual Convention of the International Association of Convention & Visitor Bureaus last week in New Orleans.
Diane Homolka, a Chicagoland native, has lived in the DuPage area for 28 years. She has been active in the Lisle community serving on the Executive Board for Lisle Community Character Alliance (LCCA) since 2009.
The Lisle Convention & Visitors Bureau mission is to assist in the development of the economy of the Village of Lisle through the promotion and encouragement of all aspects of the travel industry including meetings, conventions, tours, and special events.
