Volunteering

Lemont residents Michele Schury and her husband, ComEd employee, David Schury, Christopher M. Crane, Exelon president and CEO, Ryan Nelson, Tragedy to Triumph Foundation vice president, and Mike Polich, Tragedy to Triumph Foundation representative.  ComEd’s parent company, Exelon, donated $10,000 to the Tragedy to Triumph Foundation in honor of David Schury’s volunteer service with the organization.  Schury also received an achievement award from Exelon for his volunteer service.  Exelon’s annual Energy for the Community Volunteer Awards program this year donated a total of $100,000 in cash grants honoring 12 employees to encourage volunteerism throughout the company.
