Bears Hero and Camp Director Robin Earl draws up a play at a past Lake Forest—Chicago Bears Youth Camp.

It was challenging drills, Super Bowl Friday thrills, Chicago Bears Heroes and lots of fun this week at Lake Forest’s Deerpath Middle School.

It happened as Chicago Bears Youth Football Camps brought their brand of non-contact football instruction for kids ages 6 to 14 years old to Lake Forest. Both kids and parents were very pleased with the instruction and fun.

Using a non-contact structure to build skills, the Chicago Bears Youth Camp was led by former Chicago Bear player Robin Earl. Earl was joined by professional assistants and Chicago Bears Alumni Heroes James “Robocop” Thornton and Emery Moorehead. These former Bears teach the fundamentals of the game, share motivational stories and of course, sign autographs.

Chicago Bears Youth Football Camps deliver safe non-contact instruction for kids ages 6 to 14. With both a comprehensive skills and an accelerated skills program, the camps are a great fit for experienced players, cross training athletes and newcomers to the game. The goal is to improve the campers' technique, skill, confidence and of course have a great time doing it.

The daily schedule included station-based skills training and daily scrimmages that lead up to Super Bowl Friday and Camper Recognition—a great culmination to a vigorous week. Indoor curriculum included such topics as leadership, hydration, nutrition and Chicago Bears history. With a non-contact structure and certified health directors on site, parents are put at ease knowing their kids will have a safe and fun week of quality football.

Lake Forest is just one of the many Chicago Bears Youth Football Camps in the area. The camps have been running for eight consecutive years and continue to provide young athletes with an unforgettable summer experience.

Numerous camps are available in July. For more about other Chicago Bears Youth Football Camps in the area, visit www.BearsCamps.com or call 312-226-7776.
