Blotter: Trespassing, DUI and a busted cleaning supply salesman

CRIMINAL TRESPASS TO RESIDENCE

A 22-year-old Lake Forest man, of the 1700 block of Wimbleton Court, was charged with criminal trespass to residence at about 12:10 a.m. May 31 in the 1300 block of Western Avenue. Police said the man entered an apartment by climbing the first-floor balcony and opening a sliding glass door. The man chased a person who was in the apartment into the hallway and out of the building. The man fell on the sidewalk unconscious where police officers found him when they arrived. The officers took him to Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital where he was treated for alcohol intoxication and abrasions that he sustained in the fall.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL

An 18-year-old Waukegan woman, of the 3000 block of Sunset Place, was charged with no valid driver’s license and driving under the influence of alcohol after police arrested her at about 4:30 a.m. May 18 at the corner of Route 41 and Gage Lane.

SOLICITATION WITHOUT A PERMIT

A 51-year-old Georgia man, of the 400 block of Courtland Street in Atlanta, was charged with solicitation without a permit when police arrested him at about 6:45 p.m. May 27 at the corner of Kimberly Lane and Ridge Road. Police said the man was selling cleaning solutions for Magnificent Cleaning Solutions in Michigan City, Ind. to several Lake Forest residents without a valid permit.
