4-Week class led by Elite Sox Academy instructors

LISLE, IL. – The Chicago Bulls/Chicago White Sox Training Academy announced today that it will be hosting a White Sox Hitting Club at the Park District of LaGrange located at 536 East Avenue in LaGrange and at the Darien Park District located at 7301 Fairview Avenue in Darien.

The LaGrange Hitting Club will start on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 and will run for 4 weeks.  Enrollment is limited and is open to boys and girls ages 6-11. Times will be 6-8 year olds from 4:00-5:15pm and 9-11 year olds from 5:15-6:30pm.  The cost of the Hitting Club is only $95.00 per athlete.

The Darien Hitting Club will start on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 and will run for 4 weeks.  Enrollment is limited and is open to boys and girls ages 6-11. Times will be 6-8 year olds from 4:00-5:15pm and 9-11 year olds from 5:15-6:30pm.  The cost of the Hitting Club is only $95.00 per athlete.

The White Sox Hitting Club will present your hitter with a step-by-step approach to hitting like a Major League player…exactly like Sox Hitting Coach, Greg Walker teaches to the current White Sox roster.  There are hitting “absolutes” that must be present in each at bat to be a successful hitter.  From Konerko to Beckham to Rodriguez to Pujols, these “absolutes” make all the difference. We know them and will teach them to you.  It’s never too early to learn to hit correctly before bad habits become very difficult to unlearn.  Softball players will benefit greatly from this class as well. A huge benefit to the White Sox Hitting Club is that former Major Leaguer (Cardinals, Brewers, Phillies) and current Academy Director of Regional Baseball Operations, Jim Adduci will visit the athletes and teach the finer points of hitting.

The Chicago Bulls/Sox Training Academy opened in 2001 in Lisle, Illinois and runs extensive training programs for boys and girls from beginner to professional.
