From left to right, Jane Brencic of Brookfield, IL, Clare Froemel of La Grange, IL, Michael Jacobson of Chicago, IL, and Joseph Vucko of Lemont, IL, are the Boy Scouts of America, Des Plaines Valley Council Silver Beaver Award winners for 2012 for their exception service to youth and the community.

The Silver Beaver Award is the highest recognition that can be given by a Boy Scout council on adult volunteers for their efforts on behalf of youth and Scouting.

The awards were presented February 16, 2012, at the Council’s Annual Recognition Banquet at the North Riverside Golf Club, North Riverside, IL.
