Author Mary A. Monroe stopped by for an impromptu visit with the Stickney – Forest view Public Library to promote her new book 'Tagger'. Mary A. Monroe lived in Stickney during her childhood years and graduated from Morton West High school. She currently lives in South Florida where she teaches 9th and 10th grade English. She is the author of the books Miracle at Monty Middle School, Krazy White Girl and Tagger.
