Comedic legend Carol Burnett will appear at the Rialto Square Theatre on May 8 for a casual event where the audience can ask the questions, the Rialto has announced.

Tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. Feb. 17 for “Laughter and reflection with Carol Burnett: A conversation with Carol where the audience asks the questions,” which will feature impromptu dialogue with a live audience. Rialto officials said the format will be similar to her Carol Burnett Show, which ran for 11 years and earned 25 Emmy Awards.

Burnett will take the stage at 8 p.m. on May 8. Tickets range from $39.50 to $125 and can be purchased at the Rialto box office at 102 N. Chicago St., Joliet, and at all Ticketmaster outlets.
