A dense fog advisory has been issued for Dupage, McHenry, Kane, Kendall, Will and Grundy counties this morning.

The National Weather Service warning is in effect until 9 a.m. Visibilities frequently will be reduced to a quarter mile–and in some places as little as a few hundred yards.
