Rehab Patients Enjoy Girl Scouts

Palos Park residents Rebecca Sweeney, 10, and Julia Krol, 10, get ready to perform in a Variety Show for residents of Alden Estates of Orland Park Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. All of the girls in Girl Scout Troop 467 had a special role to play in the show, which included singing, dancing and musical performances on the piano and flute.

Individuals staying at of Alden Estates of Orland Park Rehabilitation and Health Care Center for short-term rehab recently enjoyed the company of 12 girl scouts. Girl Scout Troop 467, compiled of 5th graders, prepared and served an Italian meal and then put on a one-hour Variety Show. The show included singing, dancing and musical performances on the piano and flute. Alden Estates of Orland Park is partnering with the Girl Scout Troop this year to help them achieve a Bronze Award, the highest honor a Junior Girl Scout can achieve.
