Seguin Auto Center Launches a Public Auto Auction
Seguin Auto Center in Cicero is launching the newest arm of our business. On the 2nd Saturday of each month, the SEGUIN AUTO AUCTION will take place at the Auto Center on the corner of Ogden & Central Avenues in Cicero. SEGUIN AUTO AUCTION is a public auto auction where everyone is welcome. Buy and sell like the dealers do! You can come and find incredible deals on all types of vehicles. While other cheap car auctions are for dealers only, a public auto auction gives everyone the opportunity to purchase a used vehicle auction-style and get in on some really great public auto sale deals.

SEGUIN AUTO AUCTION is unique from all other public auto auctions! When you purchase or sell a vehicle, the fees that you pay are going to support the programs and services at Seguin Services in Cicero, Illinois. The Seguin Auto Center currently employs 24 individuals with special needs and is licensed by the State of Illinois as a used car dealer that sells everything from cars to trucks to trailers and campers. The Auto Center is also a full service car wash and detailing center.
If you are an interested buyer, you will be asked to register to bid by presenting a valid photo identification (driver’s license, State ID, passport). All potential buyers will be required to leave a $100.00 cash deposit. All deposits will be applied to purchase of vehicle, but in the event that you are not the winning bidder or place a bid during the auction, your deposit will be refunded. Buyers will pay the final bid price plus buyer’s premium, applicable taxes and all Illinois Department of Motor Vehicles Fees required by law (plate and title registration).
If you have a vehicle you are interested in selling through the SEGUIN AUTO AUCTION, you must complete a Auction Listing Contract, possess the title to the vehicle and pay a $20.00 entry fee per vehicle (non-refundable, non-transferable). If the vehicle sells, a seller’s transaction fee will apply.
SEGUIN AUTO AUCTION allows all potential buyers a chance to visit in advance to look over or even test-drive the vehicles that will be up for auction. You will want to know in advance the condition of the vehicle and how much you are willing to pay. Don’t forget to arrive early to the auction to allow for ample time to register as a bidder, find a good area where you can easily be seen in the public auction by the auctioneer and/or his spotters, and inspect any vehicles one last time. And like all public auctions, be careful not to get caught up in the bidding war. Know your limits! If you are the highest bidder, you must settle your payment with the Clerk as soon as possible; otherwise, you may be at risk of breaking a legal contract and may be charged additional fees. Acceptable forms of payment will be cash or credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, Discover & American Express).
