Hinsdale Central beat York 5 -2 in the first game of a double header in Hinsdale. Will Pahos pitched a complete game striking out 5, walking one and allowing 2 earned runs on seven hits. Matt Sliter was 2 for 4, scoring a run. Jack Hellwig (2-3, 2 runs scored) and Mac Burridge (2-3, RBI and great defensive play in center field) led the Red Devil offense. Steve Adkins left the game in the sixth after taking a line drive right leg. 

York won the second game of the double header 7-2.
