Multi – Arts Camp 2010
This summer program is educational, culturally enriching and should not be missed!

Multi-Arts Camp (MAC) has provided a glimpse into the cultural life of far-away lands to children for more than 17 years! During these two week arts immersion camps children work together with HCA’s exemplary music, theater, dance and art faculty. Each session culminates with a special performance and art exhibition for family and friends. All supplies are included. This year we are offering three themes!
Tuition per session: $250 HCA members/$280 non-members

Destination Japan!
Ages 6 - 12
June 14 - June 25, 2010
Morning session: 9:00 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. or
Afternoon session: 1:00 p.m. - 4:15 p.m. FULL!

Children will explore paper making, block prints and
Japanese Painting. Elaborate costumes, fans, and masks
are essential to Japanese theater and dance.

Destination Brazil!
Ages 6 - 12
July 12 - July 23, 2010
Morning session: 9:00 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. or
Afternoon session: 1:00 p.m. - 4:15 p.m.

Brazil, home to more than sixty percent of the Amazon
Rain forest, has been influenced by the Portuguese Empire,
Africa and its native tribes. From these strong influences,
distinct styles of music, dance and theater have developed.

Afternoon Session Only: 1:00 p.m. - 4:15 p.m.

California, the most populous state in America, has
mystified, entertained and delighted us for centuries.
The Golden State has a plethora of attractions to explore!
