Butterflies take flight in city’s downtown

From 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, local artists hung nearly 30 painted butterflies along Central Avenue.
About 3 feet long by 3 feet wide, the butterflies are accompanied by poems posted alongside in framed displays.
The butterflies will be in the downtown through the summer. They will then be auctioned off. Proceeds will go to benefit the Art Center.
