Northwood Junior Highs N-Bassadors Club recently conducted a series of fundraising activities in an effort to provide relief to the victims of the Haitian earthquake. Northwoods Huskies worked unselfishly to sell fleece caps, chocolate covered pretzels, and t-shirts with the design Paws for Relief emblazoned on them. Mrs. Bernstein, N-Bassadors Club Sponsor, stated, I was in awe of how the students, staff, and parents rallied to support this fundraiser. Their efforts culminated in a Hats for Haiti day where students were allowed to wear a hat in school if they purchased a sticker for $1. Total funds raised were $745.22!
