Northwood recently held its schools spelling bee as part of the 2010 Lake County Spelling Bee. Seventh grader, Isa Spoerry, was the winner, correctly spelling the word v-e-n-g-e-a-n-c-e. Tianna Woods, also a seventh grader, was Northwoods runner-up. Both students will advance to the sectional at South Park School in Deerfield on February 18th.
