The Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center has joined the Joint Commission Center for Transforming Healthcare’s Healing Healthcare Partnership™, a campaign that brings together health care organizations and industry to improve patient safety and lower the cost of health care.
“The Lovell FHCC is honored to be partnering with key healthcare organizations with a common goal,” said Patrick L. Sullivan, Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center Director. “Patient safety and good stewardship of taxpayer dollars is a key focus of our patient-centered environment, and joining the Joint Commission’s Healing Healthcare Partnership is another method we can use to share this focus with other partners.”
As part of the partnership, the Lovell FHCC joins 7 additional healthcare facilities in Illinois who are listed on the Center for Transforming Healthcare website: http://www.centerfortransforminghealthcare.org
