Prairie Crossing Charter School Open House

If you are a resident of Woodland District #50 or Fremont District #79, your child is eligible to attend Prairie Crossing Charter School. A free, public school, Prairie Crossing Charter School (PCCS) is currently accepting registration forms for the upcoming 2012-2013 school year. PCCS is a free public charter school, with a mission focused on the environment. PCCS serves students in Kindergarten through eighth grade, with a maximum school size of 392 students and an average of 44 students in each grade. Prairie Crossing Charter School has been recognized annually for its academic excellence. In 2010, ISAT testing, 94% of PCCS students met or exceeded state standards in reading & 98% of PCCS students met or exceeded state standards in math.

For those interested in learning more about Prairie Crossing Charter School, an open house will be held Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 7pm in the Comstock Building of the school. Registration packets are available at the school or can be printed from the school’s website (www.prairiecrossingcharterschool.org). Completed registration materials can be mailed or dropped off at the school office during school hours (8:00am-4:00pm) at 1531 Jones Point Road, Grayslake, IL 60030. They must be received at the school by February 29, 2012 at 4:00pm. A public lottery will be held on March 1, 2012 at 7pm in the Comstock Building of the school.
