A workshop for landscape companies, turf managers, homeowner associations and municipalities will be offered on Thursday, Oct. 13 from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the College of Lake County.
Participants in the natural lawn care and sustainable landscapes workshop will learn how to create and implement cost-effective sustainable landscaping programs in their communities. The workshop will include sessions on introduction to natural lawn care, implementing a natural lawn care program, contracts, greening your ordinances and creating a rain-friendly landscape.
The workshop fee is $25 for the public and free for current CLC students. The event will be held in the C Wing Auditorium (room C005) at College of Lake County, 19351 W. Washington St., Grayslake.
