The Journal Online reports: A two-car garage was deemed a total loss by a top-ranking Glenview fire official at the scene of a blaze in The Glen earlier this afternoon (Thursday).

A resident of the home on Monterey Drive, just south of West Lake Avenue near The Glen Club golf course, was able to escape the home uninjured, a Journal reporter on the scene was told.
