Glen Ellyn-area residents who need help filing their taxes can get free assistance at College of DuPage in February and March.

COD accounting students, under instructor supervision, will help  students, staff and community members prepare forms 1040 IL, 1040 and Schedules A-B. Free assistance will also be available for Schedule C-EZ and small schedule D’s (with three or fewer items.)

Participants must bring their tax information and the previous year’s return.

Assistance sessions are scheduled for 9  to 11:30 a.m. Feb. 18 and 25 and March 3, 10, 24 and 31 in Room 129 of Building K on the College of DuPage Campus, 425 Fawell Boulevard in Glen Ellyn.
