The following items were taken from Glen Ellyn police department reports on Sept. 1:
DUI
A 50-year-old woman from the 200 block of May Avenue, Glen Ellyn, was arrested at 10:14 p.m. Aug. 28 and charged with driving under the influence and driving with a suspended or revoked drivers license at Hill and May avenues.
Drugs
A 20-year-old man from the 1400 block of Stonebridge Circle, Wheaton, was cited at 1:45 p.m. Aug. 16 for possession of marijuana and alcohol by a minor at Glenwood Avenue and Crescent Boulevard.
Property damage
A tree branch fell onto a cable and power line at 1:41 p.m. Aug. 12 in the 200 block of Newton Avenue.
Several cars were damaged between 3:30 and 6:25 a.m. Aug. 18 along Hillside, Bryant and Hill avenues and on Cumnor Street.
The south side of a building was defaced with spray paint at 9:57 a.m. Aug. 22 in the 200 block of Roosevelt Road.
Theft
An iPhone valued at $200 was stolen from a car between 4 and 10:30 p.m. Aug. 14 in the 700 block of Hill Avenue.
Two rear car tires were slashed between 10 p.m. Aug. 15 and 6:30 a.m. Aug. 16 in the 500 block of Park Plaza.
A wallet was stolen from a locker between 9:10 and 10:12 a.m. Aug. 18 from a gym in the 0-100 block of Deicke Drive.
Change totaling $20 was stolen from a car between 8:30 p.m. Aug. 18 and 6:30 a.m. Aug. 19 in the 700 block of Chidester Street.
A credit card was stolen between 4:30 a.m. Aug. 20 and 2 a.m. Aug. 24 from a restaurant in the 500 block of Roosevelt Road. The owner said he forgot his credit card at this location and later saw several charges he did not make.
A registration sticker was stolen at 1:10 p.m. Aug. 23 from the rear license plate of a car in the 400 block of Raintree Court.
A GPS unit and personal checkbook was stolen from a car between 5 p.m. Aug. 24 and 6:06 p.m. Aug. 25 in the 100 block of Forest Avenue.
A DVD monitor, iPod and camera were stolen from a car between 9:30 p.m. Aug. 26 and 6:30 a.m. Aug. 27 in the 200 block of South Ellyn Avenue.
A 21-year-old man from the 200 Hammes Avenue, Joliet, was arrested at 7:21 p.m. Aug. 27 and charged with theft after attempting to steal a purse from Walgreens in the 800 block of North Main Street.
