The Northern Illinois Food Bank celebrated the opening of a 140,000-square-foot Community Nutrition and Food Distribution Center on Tuesday.  The new facility at 273 Dearborn Court in Geneva will provide additional storage space for dry, refrigerated and frozen food, increased docks, a demonstration kitchen, processing space, offices and conference rooms.

The food bank provides food to more than 600 agencies in 13 counties.
